Support Bill 71: Phasing Out Education Property Tax Over 10 Years

Our PC government made a promise to you leading up to our historic 2019 second-term majority win: to phase out the unfair Education Property Tax, which is ever-rising, low-regulated and costly to middle-class homeowners.

We keep our promises, which is why we are reducing the tax by 25% this year and 25% in 2022. That's 50% less taxes homeowners have to pay in just two years--putting more money in the hands of Manitoba families. But the NDP have been fighting this for a week with procedural delay tactics in the Legislature. Even though NDP finance critic Mark Wasyliw called it a "regressive tax" in 2016 (Winnipeg Free Press), the NDP are back to their old ways of fighting to cost you more. Don't let them block much-needed tax relief for Manitobans.

Email Wab Kinew and tell the NDP to STOP fighting for higher taxes.

Thank you for your support.
