Dedicated Team with Diverse Backgrounds Ready to Represents Manitobans, Record Number of Women Nominated Under PC Banner
The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to announce it has nominated a full slate of candidates to represent the party in every constituency this provincial election.
“I am incredibly proud to lead a diverse and experienced team of community leaders who are ready to continue the important work of moving Manitoba forward,” said PC Party Leader Brian Pallister. “Our vision for Manitoba is clear – to build a province that is more affordable, more secure and more prosperous for all Manitobans.”
The PC party has completed its nominations in these constituencies:
- Notre Dame – Marsha Street
- Point Douglas – Michele Redmond
- St. Johns – Ray Larkin
- Union Station – Tara Fawcett
- Wolseley – Liz Hildebrand
Pallister noted the Manitoba PCs have nominated its most diverse slate of candidates in the party’s history, including 22 women.
“This election is about trust and taxes. As we seek a renewed mandate from Manitobans, there is only one party – our strong PC team – that will keep its word to you,” Pallister said. “Together as a team, we will continue our work to make life more affordable for Manitoba families, seniors and households across the province.”
As part of its campaign, the Manitoba PC Party has announced its Moving Manitoba Forward Guarantee, which includes:
- $2020 Tax Rollback
- Health Care Funding Guarantee
- New Schools Sooner
- Manitoba Works Job Plan
- Yes, to Made-In-Manitoba Green
The $2020 Tax Rollback will make life more affordable for Manitobans after the NDP’s legacy of reckless spending and endless tax grabs.
“A re-elected PC government will save an average Manitoba taxpayer $2,020 over the next four years,” Pallister noted. “Our PC team is putting more money on the kitchen tables of hard working families.”
