Statement from PC Leader Obby Khan on the Spruce Woods Byelection
Finally. Premier Wab Kinew has called the byelection for the Spruce Woods riding. Voters in Westman have been without a voice for 123 days. During that time, the Premier and his Cabinet Ministers have used their office and your tax dollars to unethically influence voters with empty promises, just like their failed promises to fix health care, crack down on crime and make life more affordable. Last week, Premier Wab Kinew belittled a local reporter who asked when the Spruce Woods byelection would be called. Spruce Woods voters won’t be fooled by hollow campaign promises. Our PC candidate Colleen Robbins has been working hard all summer, meeting with voters and listening to your concerns. Colleen is a former nurse, community leader with deep family roots in the community and the best interests of Spruce Woods at heart. I and the entire PC Team look forward to campaigning with Colleen in the days and weeks ahead. The PC Spruce Woods Team is working hard for every vote, earning the trust of Spruce Woods families, and ushering in a new era of the PC Party.
