Brian Pallister Nominated In Fort Whyte Under Progressive Conservative Banner

PC Candidate Selection Nearly Complete with Diverse, Dedicated Team Ready to Serve Manitobans

The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to announce Brian Pallister as the party’s nominated candidate in Fort Whyte for the next provincial election.

“I am truly honoured to have the opportunity to represent the residents of Fort Whyte,” said PC Party Leader Brian Pallister. “Our PC team is working hard to make Manitoba the most improved province in Canada. Together as a team, we are making life more affordable for all Manitobans.”

The eldest child of Bill and Anne Pallister, Brian was raised on the family farm near Portage la Prairie. Brian earned his Bachelor of Education degree and worked as a teacher in Gladstone before becoming a chartered financial consultant in 1980 and started a financial services company. In 1992, Brian entered public life, serving as an MLA and later as an MP. In 2012, Brian became the leader of the PC Party of Manitoba.

Since 2016, Brian has been honoured to serve as the 22nd Premier of Manitoba. Brian and his wife Esther recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary, and they are the proud parents of two grown daughters.

The PC Party of Manitoba candidate nomination process is well on its way to completion. The party is excited to offer to Manitobans a full slate of nominated candidates in all 57 constituencies by the Elections Manitoba deadline.

“I am incredibly proud to lead a diverse, experienced team of community-minded Manitobans who are ready to continue the important work of building a better Manitoba,” Pallister said. “The only thing better than today in Manitoba, will be tomorrow in Manitoba.”
