Tracey Maconachie was born and raised in Winnipeg and is proud to call River Heights her home.
Tracey holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Manitoba and for the past 6 years has led the Life Science Association of Manitoba as its President. In this role, Tracey’s primary focus has been on small and medium sized Manitoba businesses that are developing innovative solutions to challenges in the health, agricultural, and environmental sectors. Under her leadership, the association’s membership has tripled thanks to her collaborative approach that identifies and effectively achieves client goals.
Prior to her role with the Life Sciences Association, Tracey spent 20 years working in the health sector as a liaison between industry and government. A recognized leader in Manitoba’s business community, she has a proven track record of bringing people together to make positive change.
Tracey and her husband, who also co-own a local small business, have lived in River Heights for almost 20 years and are proud to be raising their two children in the community.
Tracey’s priorities include: working with educators to find ways to achieve better outcomes in our education system, fostering greater economic opportunities in the private sector, and ensuring local infrastructure priorities are addressed. She is running in this election because she believes that River Heights deserves an effective MLA who can deliver real results as part of a new Progressive Conservative government.
