Scott Johnston carries PC banner in St. James - Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba

Entrepreneur, school trustee brings a thoughtful voice to the PC team: Pallister

The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to announce Scott Johnston as its candidate in the St. James constituency for the 2016 provincial election.

“Scott brings valuable experience to our team, with his background in business and as a school trustee,” said PC Leader Brian Pallister. “I look forward to working with Scott as we strive to bring a change for the better to constituents in St. James, and to all Manitobans.”

Scott has been with the St. James-Assiniboia School Division for 25 years as a trustee, and is a former chairman of the board. He also works in the private sector as president of the J.F.J. Agency brokerage firm for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He’s a past vice-president of Silver Heights Community Centre and has long been involved in coaching and managing youth sports.

The PC Party is continuing to build momentum across Manitoba, with more nominations coming in the weeks and months ahead.

The PCs have so far nominated 44 candidates in the 57 constituencies. Of the party’s 28 new candidates, 11 are women.
