Raquel Dancho is a born-and-raised Manitoban who is ready to put her analytical skills and fresh perspective as a young woman to work as the next MLA for Wolseley.
Raquel graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She has worked as a researcher on a number of public policy issues and has had her work published in the Winnipeg Free Press and the Vancouver Sun. She is currently a policy analyst at the Manitoba Legislature focused on a number of government departments including Family Services, Labour and Immigration, and Multiculturalism and Literacy.
Raquel enjoys giving back to the community and has a diverse volunteer history including assisting at a personal care home, instructing martial arts, and teaching Sunday school.
Raquel is proud to live in Winnipeg’s diverse and vibrant urban core. She believes that, with a better plan from the new Progressive Conservative team, a better future is possible for our neighbourhoods and all of Manitoba.
