Marsha Street is a proud Manitoban with a long history as a social services professional. She is pleased to represent the new Progressive Conservative team as the candidate for Point Douglas.
Marsha has worked hard to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society. She is currently employed as a Mental Health Proctor, helping clients develop their social and communications skills, and assisting them in accessing community resources. Marsha has also served as a Transitional Employment Program Coordinator, where she worked with Manitobans seeking employment to prepare them for success. Throughout her career, Marsha has seen first-hand how lives can be improved when agencies, government, and the community work together. She has also seen how Greg Selinger’s NDP have failed Manitobans in need.
Marsha has trained as a Career Counsellor at George Brown College and also holds a Diploma in Multimedia from Alberta College. In addition to her work in the field of social services, she also co-owns a small media production company with her husband, Graham.
Marsha believes that we need to elect a government that listens to and truly cares about the people of Point Douglas. She is eager to be part of a new Progressive Conservative government that has a better plan for our communities and will deliver a better future for all Manitobans.
