Professor, Engineer & Philanthropist Jeannette Montufar has been nominated to represent the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba in the constituency of Fort Garry-Riverview in the next provincial election.

Jeannette has lived in Winnipeg for close to 30 years where she has enjoyed much success as a professor with the UofM Faculty of Engineering and founding partner of MORR Transportation Consulting Ltd. Jeannette has received various awards of local and national distinction, including the YMCA Woman of Distinction Award for Leadership and Management (2012).
Jeannette is married to her high-school sweetheart Luis Escobar, a transportation engineer with the City of Winnipeg. Jeanette and Luis have a 14 year-old daughter named Victoria.
Jeannette secured the nomination Wednesday evening.
