In 2011, Greg Selinger ran on a promise not to raise taxes.
But right after his re-election he raised the PST to 8% after applying it to dozens of new products and services.
He increased taxes by more than any other province in Canada and by more than any government in modern Manitoba history.
Now, he is set to raise the PST once again after making $6.7 billion in promises in the throne speech.
Only Brian Pallister and the PC team has committed to rolling back the PST to 7%.
