Biography:

Kelvin Goertzen was first elected as MLA for Steinbach in 2003 - the youngest MLA ever for this constituency.
Born and raised in Steinbach, Kelvin has deep roots in Southeastern Manitoba whether it's helping out on his grandfather's farm in the Pansy/Grunthal area or volunteering at the Mennonite Museum in Steinbach.

Following graduation from the Steinbach Regional Secondary School in 1987, Kelvin enrolled at the University of Manitoba, ultimately earning a degree in both commerce and law.

He is currently a member of the Southeast Rotary Club and has served as vice-president of Southeast Helping Hands Food Bank and the Steinbach Arts Council.

Kelvin enjoys writing and has published several articles; including in the Asper Review of International Business and Trade Law.
Kelvin and his wife Kim were blessed with their first son, Malachi, in the fall of 2006.
